Mexico City

The Mexico City trip was a great trip for Nancy and I. We have

Burlington Church of Christ and a really good friend to thank for this opportunity. Nancy and I had not been on a mission trip for quite some time. It was a needed trip that opened our eyes to so many things that I had forgotten over the years. While we were in Mexico City we handed out food to the homeless, cleaned up parks, handed out fliers, cleaned the church building, and encouraged the church. The Aimers also experienced a new culture that introduced new kinds of foods (that some times made them sick), rides on metros and buses that were extremely quiet (unlike americans). I believe the Aimers learned so much while we were there. They had to speak to people they did not know and that frequently could not understand them. We were all put out of our comfort zones and had to try many new things. What a great opportunity that opened up the eyes of the aimers before they got to there fields.
