Sweating!!! The before and after. This house had a layer of about 6-8inches of mud under all of this stuff.
Wow what a trip! I have never seen so much distruction in my life. Everything is destroyed and hardly anything has been done. It has been eight months and people have barely scratched the surface. I had such a hard time understanding why so little had been cleaned up. Many thoughts crossed my mind while working on all of these houses. I was constantly trying to understand what it would be like to be in there shoes. I knew that I would hate to be doing this by myself. Going through all of my possessions which were totally destroyed. Seeing old pictures that were discolored from the water and finding things which were precious to me would be hard. I felt sorry for the elderly people who were unable to work and couldn't come back to there homes. I had all of these thoughts constantly running through my head and knew what we were doing was awesome. I would remember this for the rest of my life and would never forget the people we helped. May God be glorified in their lifes.
